Training, Seminars, Conferences & Workshops



    FOR INFORMATION OF ALL CONCERNED

    Those members of RSPC, Jaipur and any other person(s), who are desirous of organizing training programmes in the field of their expertise for industries and other organizations in Jaipur and other areas of Rajasthan, are invited to submit their proposals in this connection.

    (i) The programme will be conducted under the banner of Rajasthan State Productivity Council, Jaipur.

    (ii) The details of names of topics, duration, likely venue, level of persons for whom planned and charging of fees etc. would be approved by RSPC, Jaipur.

    (iii) The detailed proposed terms and conditions may be indicated which will be decided after discussions with RSPC Jaipur authorities.

    (iv) The details may be submitted to RSPC Jaipur office at the following address before Mar 30, 2017, RSPC, Basement, Rajasthan Chamber Bhawan, M.I. Road, Jaipur-302017

     

    New Initiatives:

    The following are the new initiatives for RSPC services for Productivity Improvement:

    1.    Management System Certification Services for Training and Consultancy for guiding the industries for documentation, implementation & certification of Management System Standards, to assist in improving their performance in the fields of Quality, Environment, Health & Safety, Food Safety & Social Accountability, for the following Standards:

          (i)     ISO-9001-Quality Management System

          (ii)     ISO-14001-Environment Management System

          (iii)     OHSAS-18001-Occupational Health & Safety Management System

          (iv)     ISO-22001-Food Safety Management System

          (v)     SA-8000-Social Accountability


     2.    Environmental related Services:

        (i) One day programme on EHS legal frame work in India/Social Laws, covering Environmental Laws, Safety Laws(Factories Act, Mines Act, Electricity Rules etc.)

            (ii)Two days programme on Environment Protection covering EHS legal requirements,  Environmental Pollution Abatement, EIA process in India, Sustainability practices for Organizations-World Bank/IFC requirements, CDM and Carbon trading.

    2.    Job-assessment studies for designing Productivity norms for workers engaged in production, at the works of different organizations, due to changes in technology, persons, time or any other reason(s).

    3.    Consultancy Services in Effective Communication, Discipline, Office-Productivity, Administration & HRD.

    4.    A short-term programme for “Enhancement of Capacity of Human Capital for Excellence” in English, for the middle-level employees of various organizations, for two full days or  spread over a few days with part time working.

    5.    One day programme on “Better Performance through Transformation” for Industrial workers, in English and/or Hindi, covering Self-development, Positive Thinking, Communication Skills, Time Management, Stress Management & Meditation at RSPC office, Jaipur

    6.    A two days programme on “Inventory Management” for the Industrial Organizations.

    7.    Diagnostic surveys with the objective of looking for avenues for improvements on the shop floor of Industrial Organizations, including suggesting studies for specific areas.

    8.    Studies of the present status of Companies/Organizations for suggesting scope of improvement, including suggesting studies for specific areas.

    9.    One day programme for employees of middle management level, covering Kaizen, 5-S, JIT, Brainstorming

    10.    One day programme for employees of middle management level, covering Six Sigma technique.

    11.    Awareness lectures on Productivity improvement related topics or any specific requirement(s).

    Coordination with APO, Japan:


    Asian Productivity Organization (APO), Tokyo, Japan notifies from time to time, about various training programmes being organized by them. RSPC, Jaipur coordinates for these programmes, from Rajasthan State. The full details of these programmes are available on APO web site   www.apo-tokyo.org  These details may be seen by the organizations in Rajasthan, on the web site, from time to time and necessary action(s) initiated, as necessary.

    Participation in All India Conference of Local Productivity Councils
    held in New Delhi on Feb 20, 2014:

    From Rajasthan State Productivity Council, Jaipur, S/Shri G R Yadav, U C Jain and Vijai K Sharma participated in this Conference, which was inaugurated by the then Hon’ble Minister of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. In technical session –I, Shri Vijai K Sharma brought out the broad based approach adopted, providing training to students of Universities and others, Productivity publications and Productivity Awards for various sectors. In technical session-II, Shri U C Jain suggested formation of a committee for preparation of “National Productivity Policy” document. Shri G R Yadav suggested entering in Social sector & organizing of a National event jointly by NPC & RSPC. Shri V.K. Sharma suggested formation of NPC/LPC Alumni Association and organizing Skill development programmes jointly. 

    Participation in All India Conference of Local Productivity Councils held in New Delhi on Aug 30, 2016:

    All India Conference of Local Productivity Councils, was organized in New Delhi on Aug 30, 2016, and inaugurated by Ms. Kalpana Awasthi, the Director General NPC, New Delhi. From Rajasthan State Productivity Council, Jaipur, Shri Vijai K Sharma Hon. Secy. & Director Programmes RSPC participated in it and he brought out the broad based approach adopted, providing training, Productivity Awards for various sectors & other activities of RSPC. In technical session he also discussed the following points (a) Formulation of Productivity Vision--Productivity Policy,  (b) Developing acceptable code of conduct  & guidelines for undertaking activities in specified areas between LPC and NPC  (c) Revival of Trade Union Workers Development programmes and sponsoring Productivity Teams (d) Organization of major National event at NPC Hdqrs. once in 2 years.


    "Participation in workshop on Waste Management on Jul 25, 2017"
    Upon invitation of NPC, New Delhi and Jaipur Nagar Nigam, several office bearers and members of RSPC, Jaipur participated in the workshop organized by Jaipur Nagar Nigam on Jul 25, 2017 at Hotel Clark’s Amer. Several experts from NPC and PCRA, covered various aspects of this all important topic. It is expected that inputs given in this workshop will lead to  improvement in waste management in Jaipur first, and then in the other cities of Rajasthan.

     

    Souvenir release function on August 21, 2017

    The Souvenir of RSPC for 2016-2017 was released by Dr. K.L. Jain President RSPC in a function organized on Aug 21, 2017 in Bhairon Singh Shekhawat Smiriti Sabha Bhawan, Chamber Bhawan, Jaipur. Members of the Editorial Board, besides several other members were also present.

     

    NATIONAL SEMINAR ON MARCH 10, 2018

    Rajasthan State Productivity Council, Jaipur, Jaipur Chapters of ISTD and NIPM, with the support of Manipal University, Jaipur  (MUJ), successfully organized a National Seminar, jointly in the Conference Hall at this University. The Seminar was sponsored by M/s J K White Cement, Gotan, Distt. Nagaur, Rajasthan. The topic was “Productivity and Quality in Higher Education and Training: Challenges and Opportunities”. The participants joined from several cities of India. Prof. G.K.Prabhu, President, Manipal, University Jaipur delivered the Inaugural address and Prof. V S Vyas, former Director IIM, Ahmedabad delivered the Valedictory address. In the two technical sessions, the key speakers were from Industry and Academic fields viz. Prof. R L Raina, VC, JKLU, Jaipur, Mr. Vijay Rai, MD, Saviour, US INC, Prof. Y K Vijay, President, VGU, Prof. Harsh Purohit, Dean, Banasthali Vidyapith, Ms. Sonal  Upadhyay, AVP, HR, Pratham (PSI), Prof. Rajesh Solanki, Director QA, MUJ.

     

     

    Awareness Campaign Programme on Labour Code on Industrial Relations Bill-2017

         An “Awareness Campaign Programme on Labour Code on Industrial Relations Bill-2017”, was organized jointly by Raj. State Productivity Council (RSPC), Jaipur and Social Security Association of India(SSAI), Rajasthan Chapter, Jaipur on Mar 26, 2018 in Chamber Bhawan, Jaipur. It was attended by representatives of Trade Unions, Employers & RSPC etc. and chaired by Justice Pana Chand Jain (Retd.), President SSAI, Rajasthan Chapter, Jaipur.

     

    National Seminar on "Innovation and Startups" on Sep 08, 2018.

    A National Seminar was  organized by  Raj. State Productivity Council, Jaipur, jointly with Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management and Gramothan, (SKIT), Jaipur and Ind. Instn. of Industrial Engineering (IIIE), Jaipur Chapter at J C Bose Hall, at SKIT, Jaipur  on the topic, “Innovation and Start-Ups” on Sep 08, 2018. During the inaugural session, key note speaker was Mrs. Shweta Chopra, Vice Chairperson FICCI Flo, CEO Vallari and Chopra Associates, who spoke on “Startup Ecosystem in India-Issues & Challenges”. The inaugural session was also addressed by several other dignitaries like Prof. Dr. S L Surana Director Academics, Prof. Dr. S K Calla, Director D & W, Dr. Vikas Shrotriya HOD, DMS, Dr. Maneesha Kaushik, Convener, Dr. R K Parchar, Principal, all from SKIT, and Mr. Vijai K Sharma, Hon. Secretary RSPC. During the technical session, Mr. Sulabh Shukla, Industrialist & Entrepreneur and Joint Secy. BITOSA, Jaipur spoke on “Funding Issues in Startups” and Mr. Yogesh Sharma Manager,  IDBI, Jaipur spoke on “Startup Policy and Practices in Rajasthan”. There were several queries about startups from the participants during this session. In a special Paper Presentation session, 16 teams of students, presented their papers on this topic. The participants were from SKIT, MNIT, Jaipur and other institutes. Mr. Vijai K Sharma, Hon. Secretary RSPC presented his views at the end of this session. Certificates were given to those who presented their papers. It was a very beneficial Seminar for the participants.
